I’m not the only author in the family.

My husband, Hamilton, moved to Bordeaux from Canada in the late 1970s to renovate a rundown château in the sweet wine region of Sauternes. Under the Narby stewardship of almost 30 years Château Guiraud, a 1st Classified Growth, was restored to its former glory. This short story, written for our grand daughter Margaux, draws on his love of the region and the story behind the Golden Dolphin that graced the wine label. The illustrations are by our son and daughter in law William and Amy Narby – a family affair.

It’s a lovely fable for children of all ages.
