A Wine class in the Guinness Book of Records
Stephen Mutkoski Ph.D, Professor of Wine Education and Management at Cornell University, holds the record for the largest wine class – he teaches to over 700 students every week at Cornell. I saw him in action yesterday – quite a sight to see so many young people taking such an interest in wine – and they go out and buy after class, Ithaca must have record fine wine sales in upstate New York.
The faculty was kind enough to invite me to teach a more modest Bordeaux class for the Hotel School students, it was a treat to talk to such enthusiasti c and knowledgeable young people.
The Cornell School of Hotel Administration trains almost 1 000 students a year from Undergraduate to PhD, let’s hope these future leaders of the Hospitality and food and wine industry develop a taste for Bordeaux!
